Junior sales EXECUTIVE
As part of our expansion plan, we are looking to recruit a Junior Sales Executive. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with a real passion for our products, someone eager to build a career in sales within a supportive environment that values initiative and professional growth.
Our ideal candidate will have customer-facing experience in sales but this is not essential, what is important is that you have the desire to succeed, you will be sales motivated, hungry and driven.
You will be currently based in the North of England, and ideally Manchester, but there will be travel to all parts of the UK.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Executive to support the growth of our business in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sales and account management.
The role involves approximately three days per week spent visiting independent retailers, convenience stores, wholesalers, and cash & carry outlets. The remaining time will be dedicated to planning visits, customer follow-up, administration, and supporting sales initiatives.
You will be responsible for developing relationships with customers, identifying sales opportunities, increasing product distribution, and ensuring our products are well represented within your territory.
Responsibilities for the role of Junior Sales Executive
Visit existing and prospective customers across the assigned territory.
Build strong relationships with independent retailers, wholesalers, and cash & carry operators.
Promote products, pricing, and promotional activity.
Identify opportunities to increase sales and product listings.
Generate new business opportunities within the territory.
Maintain accurate records of customer visits and sales activity using CRM systems.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Ensure excellent customer service and follow-up.
Work closely with the wider sales and operations teams.
Achieve agreed sales and customer acquisition targets.
Skills & Experience for the role of Junior Sales Executive
Full UK driving licence.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a territory.
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
